Now I get it

So I've always wondered, if the point of zen is to master living in the present, how do you ever do things like daydream, plan, philosophize or other such activities. I think the answer is "one pays attention to what one is doing, thinking is an activity too, and so if that is what one is doing, one should pay attention to it."

You may want to check out J. Krishnamurti's book THIS LIGHT IN ONESELF. He talks about just that....
