weight loss is weird

I've been ever so slowly loosing some weight. Recently it'd been discouraging because I'd been fluctuating around the same 1/2 kilogram for most of a month. Then over a couple of days I dropped down a little over a kilogram.

I think at the rates I've been loosing weight, it'll probably work out to about 10 kilos over a year. Mostly I've managed to do it by eating an increasingly vegan diet of fresh vegetables & fruit as well as getting more exercise. (I'm not even sure if I managed to eat less total mass of food, just less junk food.)

Recently I bought groceries, and the only thing with a bar code was some batteries for my rear bike light, everything else was fresh produce or bulk dry goods.

Yay! If it makes your body fit your idea of what your body should be, that's good, and if it's wholey-foody stuff into the bargain, that's better.

I have the problem (oh, weep for me!) that to maintain my minimum healthy weight, I have to eat tons of carbohydrates, preferably in the form of chocolate spread, potato chips, alcohol etc. and I should avoid salads. And I was told this by a qualified nutritionist. Oh, life is so hard ...

Well, I hope it'll help improve my body image... the changes have been pretty modest so far, so it's hard to tell. But at the very least, it's kind of cool to be able to bike tens of kilometers, or walk several kilometers easily.

Hmm... So if you get to eat all that stuff and aren't at least an active person I'm going to have to try a banishment spell to send you back to whatever strange anti-universe you're from. ;)
