China says "Your guilty", to US.

Reading this article in the yellow times led me to a chinese report called Human Rights Record of the United States in 2001.

I could quibble a bit over the comparison that for instance, "more juvenile offenders are executed in the United States than in any of the other four" [where such practice is performed]. Since the U.S. is the third most populous country, this comparison perhaps should have been done on a per capita basis. Though perhaps the writer was just distracted by their horror that such a practice is performed.

Most of the other statistics seemed pretty reasonable reported. Like "according to a report issued by the US Department of Labor on November 29, 2001, 4.02 million americans -- the highest number in 19 years -- were living on relief."

The U.S. custom of killing children has always puzzled me.

As for the number of Americans living on relief, I suppose it says something for America that there is relief, which is more than most of the rest of us get. OTOH, I'm amazed that one of the world's richest countries has poor poeple in the first place. It reminds me of a dialogue I read somewhere ages ago:

American: How do you deal with poor people in Sweden?
Swede: We don't have poor people in Sweden.
