Wireless Everywhere

I want to know why I was able to access one of my schools wireless access points 3 miles away from our main campus in my doctors office. I mean they did buy the hospital next door a few years ago, but they sent out a memo saying that they resold it.

So what bit of caltech is actually over here?

Although it is really convenient.

What bit of CalTech is over there, is that one of your brilliant colleagues has installed a super amplifier, and you can actually connect to CalTech wireless in Van Nuys, too.

Do you have to have an account or is it open access?

The caltech network needs a caltech user id/password to login. though i think there may have been some other insecure networks nearby.
