I'm very tired of being sick. This is my third day home from work. My tonsils hurt from the coughing and my nose is still running.

But I finished Charles Stross' new book Halting State.

The second person was a bit confusing, but how could I not resist a book about a bunch of Orcs breaking into a bank and stealing a database table. (And all of the "prestige" loot contained therein)

Their choice of people to do back cover blurbs on "Halting State" cracked me up: the guy from iD software, Bruce Schneier, and someone else equally nerd-appropriate, IIRC (I've given the book back to the library and can't check).

I liked it.
