Feb 6, Neighbors played loud music, to 23:30, pounded on wall, they turned the music down, but the giggling/laughing continued until girl left Feb 7, 0:30
Feb 7-8, Laughing, giggling, until 01:44, pounded on wall, and front door a couple of different times to say STFU. No response.

Need to remember to continue recording pattern of their failure to STFU, also need to remember to write down when I submit notice, to the neighbor and/or land lord.

Note, OMG, do I wish I could afford some place where I didn't have to listen to some fucking kids.

(Stuck note to their door Feb 8 1:51).

And then there's what i did, which is to know on the door until they open it, and say "I'm really sorry, but if you don't turn the music down, i'm going to call the landlord and/or police to have them talk to you." Or maybe that worked so well for me since, once the neighbor opened the door, there was a very strong smell of pot, and they came out of thier stupor enough to momentarily panic and put on headphones.

If you haven't complained to the landlord already, do so. And keep complaining every time this happens.

I'm sure Pasadena has a noise ordinance. Tape a copy of it to the neighbors' door with a warning that you'll start calling the cops to enforce it.

I don't know why so many people who live in apartments are so massively clueless, but it's been going on from time immemorial. We once got back at loud, bar-hopping, late-night jackass neighbors by putting a record full of Marine Corps recruiting radio ads (starting off with the Marine Band playing the National Anthem) on our stereo, cranked to the max, right up against the common wall at 6:30am and leaving to eat breakfast at the 24-hour diner down the street, but I don't suppose that would work for just anyone. :)

So sorry Diane. I know how much getting a good amount of sleep means to you. :(:(

I don't suppose you could out-loud them, or out something else them.

How is it your Fault Secretslip.

It's funny, but we are getting into something with Smoking and peoples rights. People think freedom gives them the right to do anything.

Whats the saying, your right to swing your first stops at my nose.

Noise, Smoke, if it upsets someone who is responsible?
