I was looking for some way of programmatically saving a rendered web page from python, and though I didn't find that, I did learn more about WebKit the open source portion of the rendering engine in safari.

I knew that WebKit was derived from KHTML the rendering engine the KDE people came up for their browser, Konqueror. What I didn't know was that some of the KDE people ported WebKit back to Qt, or that WebKit is also the core of the Nokia S60 web browser.
