Office move

Me and my coworker have been living in a fairly small office after we lost our previous nice office many months ago to the expectations of the large doner. However the people who were occupying the larger chunk of this office space who were destined to be kicked out (because they weren't part of the donors facility) moved out a week or so ago.

However we've been busy trying to ship our software and so haven't had a chance to finish cleaning out the new bigger office.

Today however, my girlfriend needed a quiet place to work, and so I suggested my office. Instead of hacking on mono, I cleaned out all of the previous tenants junk and moved my keyboard, headphones, and chair in.

I hope the custodians come by early monday, as I filled up all of the trashcans and left a giant pile of unneeded boxes out in the hallway.

I think it was a proxy for wanting to empty my room in my apartment of unnecessary junk. But for some reason its much easier to throw away someone elses trash than your own.

Cleaning out someone elses office is pretty easy.

1) Get a large trash can(s)
2) Put current contents of office in can.
3) Enjoy now empty room.

There's none of this worrying about "do I need that?", "is that valuable?"
