I was talking with a coworker about meat eating, and how its technically safer to eat things further away from human on the food chain. (e.g. eating monkey is nearly as dangerous as eating human with respect to a several disease vectors, like HIV is probably a crossover from monkey hunters).

I proposed that of the meats that americans typically eat, chicken is probably the furthest away.

Him, "So what is a meat eater who only eats chicken called?"

Me, "picky?"

A pescevegetarian eats fish. "Pesce" means "fish."

There's not really a word for a poultry-eating vegetarian, probably because by the time you get to poultry, there's really no disputing that you're an omnivore. Maybe "aviavore."
