For The Pie

A little while ago I was playing an alt on some World of Warcraft server, where in the general chat I ended up shouting "For The Pie!" (instead of the usual For the Horde). And my girlfriend suggested making a guild named that.

For the pie came up again, tonight, and acting impulsively I ran off and created it. And I only had to get 2 random people to sign it out of the 9 that I needed.

Strangely one of the random people was fairly friendly and is mostly in a newish guild named "The Empire" where the guild master is darthvadr.

Seems like puns can get you far in WoW guilding.

I just got "Funky Gibbon" going on Khaz'Goroth. Adding some puns to the message I used to get charter members made all the difference.

Though one moron in Westfall didn't know what a pun was, and was completely confused by the phrase "the gibbon-take of life in Azeroth".
