I drove my car to work because it was raining and i could show it to my coworkers, unfortunately after taking it to lunch on a day that it was raining I ended up with some mud in it.

Currently the thing I find most frustrating about the prius, is the in car stereo systems inability to play MP3s (or even better ogg) file. I had to go actually dig out some CDs from the box I'd buried them in. There are ways of connecting to an ipod, but I ordered a widget that will provide RCA inputs to the stereo and video inputs for the LCD, I just have to wait 6 weeks for it to show up.

Ooo, I'd like a widget like that for my car. What's it called, and does it work for all cars or is there something special about the Prius AV setup?

You have an LCD monitor in your car? Somehow I never figured you for part of the "Pimp My Ride" crowd. :)

The LCD is part of the cars instrumentation. It provides the UI for customizing the audio system and more importantly showing the cars energy usage.

Though coastaletech.com specializes in the prius, they do have a universal video input device.
