Huh. I wonder how close I am to knowing how to take the coding sequence for the H5N1 nucleocapsid protein of the current avian influenza A virus and synthesize a vaccine from it.

Doing bioinformatics has taught me a lot about biology, but to make the vaccine requires lab work which I don't know how to do yet.

Though learning how to make vaccines sure seems like a really useful skill.
