Not only can I afford cryopreservation by alcor, the life insurance policy and membership dues aren't even that expensive.

At my current age and job it would only cost me $42/month for their most expensive preservation process which includes low temperature vitrification of the brain and whole body suspension.

I thought this was much more expensive. I didn't want to suffer to much right now for something that I thought had a low to moderate chance of success. (Though it's far more likely to work than any of the alternatives people have hope in).
