Meat eating? The new smoking?

Panel says mad cow may not have been lame, which could be disquieting for those eating meat, since the USDA is planning on primarily testing downer cows.

Cattle can develop the original form of CJD. Is it transmissible? Could it explain the clusters of CJD or perhaps there really is an increase in sporadic CJD?
