Eccentricity

Today I learned of the bunny museum in a discussion of eccentric people. One of the claims was that eccentric people tended to be happier.

So I did a web search and found this fun article on eccentricity and creativity.

one comment that stood out to me:
But when a gifted person's inner drive toward self-actualization is blocked or hindered, by low self esteem, unresolved dependency needs, shame, depression, abuse, fear, or other factors, their very sense of aliveness may be eroded.


I know that sounds familiar, though I wonder how many others feel like that.
