Weight loss

I've been weighing myself for the past couple of years to track my weight loss, but today I decided to break out the measuring tape and measure myself. Later I remembered that years ago I'd done that and written down the results.

So I dug those numbers out–I'm now the same size I was in 1994. For instance the circumference of my waist was at least equal if not slightly smaller than in august '94.

Also this explains why none of my bras have been fitting properly, when I last went shopping my band size was 41. I suspect it should be 36 or 37 now.

Maybe this also explains why when one friend who I haven't seen in quite a few months stopped by a couple of days ago, when I opened the door he said "you look good". Or yesterday when one woman after I told one woman how old I was she also said "wow, you look good". She was surprised that I'm in my early thirties. (And I'm writing down these egoboos in the hope that I'll remember them later.)

yay for eating really healthy and getting a least some exercise.

Since I've been getting data that suggest that I'm not "obese" any longer, I feel like I can actually believe the positive comments.

I had trouble believing compliments before, because I had so much difficulty believing that one could be attractive if one was heavy.
