So after recently writing something potentially embarrising about the cute woman next door, I stopped by today and she seemed distracted... Hopefully she's just busy and I didn't offend her.

(it can be so easy to worry especially when you're in that weird, wanting to present one's good side, state of getting to know someone).

(I wonder if I should start marking these entries as private as it's a bit weird to be processing random thoughts and feelings about someone, while expecting that they'll read it. On the other hand communication is a good thing).

I don't know if I should put this in the your journal or just email you...so you can delete it if you want.

I just want to be friends. Just regular friends, without you trying to push the romantic friendship on me. Like I'm friends with Vijaya or Lilach. Which means it's fine to giggle and tell secrets and go out to lunch and talk about the war and politics and religion, but I don't think you should have a crush on me because I'm not going to be able to return it. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings too much.

Pout...

But it's good to tell me, more information means better decisions.

I hope the wishful thinking wasn't too obnoxious... I do have a pretty rotten time of meeting interesting available people with a compatible orientation.

I can only speak for me, but *I* prefer to be told straight out (pun intended) where I stand with someone. I'd rather hear the truth, eh?

I don't know that I'd want to be told on Live Journal ::g::, but at least I'd know!

You're probably a lot better off. Find people who can not only stimulate you, but also encourage you, as well as appreciate you for who you are.
