I let some of the people in my lab talk me into playing ultimate frisbee yesterday. I ended up with a severe headache from overheating, and now my legs hurt rather badly. Though I've heard rumors that if I keep playing the pain goes away.

On the plus side I think I've discovered that on the right surface running barefoot is easier than with shoes. (And is far less prone to stinky sweaty feet).

The ideal athletic shoe design is generally considered to be one that provides the feeling of running barefoot on grass.

Really? Wow... I can save myself vast sums of money by running barefoot through the grass? (instead of supporting all sorts of transnational athletic shoe companies.)
