Happy 2003.

I basically avoided everyone this new years. There were a couple of events I could've gone to but instead I stayed home. (except for visiting a friends cat, and a brief ride past all of the people waiting for the rose parade)

On the boring side I managed to reconcile most of my accounts.

On the more exciting side I managed to modify python's SimpleXMLRPCServer to respond to request tunneled over jabber. I also slightly improved my playlist manager for pynp3. It now supports moving backward and forward through a playlist.

Next step is to get the player to make xmlrpc requests anouncing the current song, and respond to requests to queue particular songs.

(What's with this, I'm posting coding details, when I could've posted comments about my encounter with some jehovah witnesses this weekend. But that'll have to wait until after I sleep).

wait a second, with all those people colorado boulevard is supposed to be car free after midnight. Hmm.. okay sleep can wait for looking at that...

*wanders off for a couple hours*

Diappointing, there were still cars. :( But I did get interesting pictures of hords of people trying to sleep on the street.
