It seemed like a good idea

One of my coworkers has the same car as me. (It might be a slightly different year, and is certainly a different color). However their engine died.

My car works but some of the body panels are damaged.

So it seems like it might be useful to swap out the parts of their car that are undamaged with mine. But then I realized that although swapping things like hoods and doors seem to be pretty easy as cars stuff goes, the parts are still heavy and would probably be hard to reattach properly.

Another idea would be to take both cars to a mechanics and have my engine placed in their car.

Did I mention I don't have all that much time in my life either?

what to do?
