BioI'm a computer programmer and a geek. I read my first book on programming before my parents could even afford a computer. (Those commodore 64s were expensive). I used to spend all my non-work time either playing role playing games or trying to trick my computer into doing cool things.
Somewhere along the way I became a bit political and ended up on the Pasadena Transportation Advisory Committee.
I currently work at Caltech in the Wold Lab writing bioinformatics software in python and c++.
