Is it too much to want a public queer space that's within 15 minutes travel of my home by an environmentally friendly transit method (walking, biking, rail, or bus)? Also I'd like it to not be a bar, and have free (or low-cost) wireless internet access.

And to finish off the fantasy, I'd be nice if work and core shopping were also within the 15 minute boundery.

Yes, though most of the women-orientated business I've heard of end up struggling to survive. Though we assume that there are reasonable numbers of queer women out in the world, we rarely see them. (And the lesbian chat group I attend sometimes has spent several sessions trying to figure out where they might be.)

Hmm... tempting... when are you planning on going? Though I've heard they have bicycle traffic jams in holland.
