I've returned to the land of having 22/7 net access. (-2 hours for those times I'm not at home or work.) from the lands of hotel rooms.

Seattle was nice, it was cloudy, and gloomy, and rained occasionally. It was a bit cooler than LA, there were trees. It seemed like there were a few more cyclists and peds than LA. They even had a car sharing program.

Maybe I should move.

Also the hotel was absurdly nice. It was probably larger than my actual apartment. The kitchen definitely was bigger.

I stayed at a the Lake Union Residence Inn. There was a nice view of the lake. The hotel rooms were configured more like an apartment than a hotel. There was a bedroom, living room, and kitchen. I'm far more used to to hotels with just a bedroom (and bathroom).

Oh! I stayed in the Redmond Residence Inn during my recent stay in Seattle.

I guess your room was pretty much the same as mine. I had never stayed anywhere quite so spacious and plush before. It was sufficiently expensive I would never have chosen it for myself for personal use or business however.
