After 11 years and around $13,000 of finance charges.

I am now debt free(*).

I want to savor this moment (and save some money) before contemplating going back into debt for something worthy, say for instance, buying a home.

(*) Okay, So I'm not completely debt free, I have one credit card that gets all of the charges on it for that billing cycle paid off automatically. I'm using it because my credit union doesn't have a debt card. A more precise statement is that I'm now finance charge free.

It can be done.... it just takes a really long time. (And I had to break some bad habits I picked up from my parents.)
