So I collected all of my paperwork and visited my doctor today.

The missed beats I was experiencing are considered to be benign, though apparently they're most common among women who are on birth control and who smoke. I do take medication that's similar enough to birth control.

I don't smoke however.

Well actually, because of those evil cars driving next to me I do.

The crud dripping out of those frigging metal monsters is loaded with neurotoxins, heavy metals, carcinogens, and all sorts of other fun pollutants--kind of like a cigarette.

It occurred to me that I've had this life long hacking cough, kind of like that of a smoker. Go air pollution!

Hmm, I wonder if it's possible to use scuba gear while biking?

Just because I'm unwilling to contribute to the pollution I'm more at risk to suffer from it. (Of course all of those fine drivers sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, you too are sucking down all sorts of unhealthy chemicals).

Maybe I should move someplace cleaner. Since the idea of a car free city in north america is just ludicrous, I've heard of a few car free cities in Europe.

And to think I was tempted to buy one of those killer devices. Pity the electric cars aren't available...

4? Wow... I wonder where he got them, here's what I currently know of.

Convert it yourself kit ~$7,000 before batteries.
Sparrow 1 seater electic 3-wheeler ~$14,000
EV1 $20,000 for a 2 or 3 year lease. (and it's out of production too)
Soletric Sunforce(sp?) 4 door car ~$30,000

So I am being lazy and not checking my data but that's roughly what I remember.

Wow... I thought the tzero is a $60,000 car. Though as far as I know its one of the few electric cars that are still in production.

Though there's the Tango which might become available in 2003.

I think a two person car is far more useful than a 1 person car, so I could almost imagine usinga tango as my primary car, a sparrow is far less likely to work.

Me too... though the doctors seem to think this is perfectly safe.

That's good to know... I think my boss might've had something similar as well, based off of her email response to my "I'm not going in today" message.
