Last week was rather tough, as I had a couple of early for me meetings, on tuesday and wednesday, followed by one of those all day fly up to the bay area business meetings.

I really love getting up at 04:30 and getting to go to bed a 0:30. Then I got to get up early again the next day.

It took me a while to recover from that. But on the plus side the collaboration with Stanford looks more promising, though as usual I feel like everything's taking way longer than it should.

Also I'd been kind of sad for a few weeks, I'm not fully sure why. Lack of sleep is probably high up there. Also I think I was sad that I didn't have any good way of playing music. I could hear the limitations in most of what we had set up--and I couldn't set up my previous good speakers because the stupid subwoofer is too big.

So I snapped and picked up some orb audio speakers, their speakers are quite small, and the subwoofer should nicely fit on a shelf.

It also sounds really good.

Oh yeah for someone whose bad at making decisions, this whole gift exchange thing is stressful.

don't forget to give me a shout.

Our family joke is that "we look down on Stanford". (We are on one of the hills overlooking it)

Also our local Python group meeting is usually the 3rd Thursday. We usually have quite a big crowd. Maybe you can plan your trip around it.

Ooh I'll have to keep that in mind. Though there wasn't much time to do anything fun on that little business day trip. (Also I'm not really fond of doing things that require going through an airport these days)
