Still Sick, Day 9

« previous entry | next entry »
Nov. 21st, 2007 | 12:35 pm

After trying to work yesterday and failing, I went and read a bit on WebMD, which had the scare sheet Killer Cold Virus

One week of feeling sick and reading that pushed me over my doctor nervousness so I called and asked for an appointment. They said come right now. (Apparently it was a slow moment).

I'm now diagnosed with Bronchitis, and have my 10 day antibiotic course which I started yesterday, though today I'm now coughing up even more crud then yesterday.

This blows.

I'm feeling sorry for myself and want to go buy something shiny.

You have my sympathies! I have had bronchitis and it is definitely No Fun.

At least you can take time off work. When I had it while working at Fry's they told me that if I took the week off that my doctor wanted, I would get fired.

The Apple store is having a big sale. If you can wait till Friday.

Blech. Melody had it last year, and it took three months before her cough went away.

But hey, at least it won't kill you, and you will be able to function again (with a cough) in a week or so.

Is that a wow reference?

I hope your feeling better. I think with the ammount of water you normally drink and the antibiotics you should be feeling better in no time.

I'm supprised they didn't give you something to losen up the congenstion. My docs always seem to prescribe antibios and something to help move it out.

Add in some tylenol or Advil, and the road to recover is just a few days away!

Peace.
