World of warcraft

Several months ago I started playing world of warcraft, and for a time it dominated my life. All my waking time was spent trying to level my character, in the process I spent less time with my physical world friends, largely ignored LJ, and stopped taking care of myself and my projects.

Sometime last week I installed a SATA drive into my game playing computer, and I discovered that you nee a floppy drive to install windows onto a SATA drive (for loading the disk driver.) Shockingly a recent build of the debian installer had no trouble installing onto the SATA disk. (Yes in this case it was easier to install linux than windows xp.)

However without windows I wasn't able to run WoW and have been freed from it's hypnotic rays and so I've been off learning about VoIP, working on making my computer more silent, thinking of writing my own blogging software (for note taking), and have just generally been putting more time into doing geek stuff.

Though now I do need to figure out how to do better at trying to do a better job paying attention to my various friends.

Does this mean you're not going to play WoW as much?

I assume it is hex, but I don't know how to decipher. I wasn't even able to google it, to pretend to be a geek.

So what happens to your account is it still active? Crazy person, you could sell it before you get out and recoup some of your loses.

as far as getting part of your time, 12 days a year would be Great! One day a month is all I ask!

This python line should do the translation for you.

"".join([ chr(int(x,16)) for x in "59 65 73 2E".split() ])

Or you can look at some ascii charts
