Minor things in my life

I got my hair cut at an expensive salon that specializes in long hair and many people of commented approvingly.

I recently received my custom vegan mary jane-esque shoes.

Lastly I picked up Evolutionary Witchcraft. It looked interesting, and the author was associated with the reclaiming wiccan tradition. I've certainly respected several of my friends who were members. And I could certainly stand to be more connected to the world (and having a body), I tend to withdraw into my mind and wallow in pessimism.

Evolutionary Witchcraft is an excellent book. Certainly not a beginning book on Witchcraft. Thorn doesn't work as much in the Reclaiming Tradition any more, and for this book she is writing in her capacity of an initiate and teacher in the Feri Tradition. Certainly, many things from the Feri Tradition have influenced Reclaiming over time.

I haven't personally met Thorn, but I have a lot of friends who work with her. She even has a live journal: yezida.

I'd be curious to hear what you think about the book. About halfway through you will find the work of the Iron Pentacle - the class I'm teaching this weekend.
