I went out bowling with some friends and one of them had recently started dating a new woman. I told them about my current efforts at meeting new people and described dragonblink. It turns out that my friends date, Lauren, knows her.

Lauren seemed rather cool, I was especially impressed with the bio-diesel powered car.

I only just met her so I don't know her last name. She claimed she'd met you at the queer woman's group at "SC", which I think was short hand for USC.

But I haven't gone to any queer woman's groups, especially not at USC (where I haven't even started classes yet) ... I went to a couple Gay/Straight Alliance meetings at UCI, but that was a few years ago.

It is a puzzlement.

*shrug* I might have missed some of what she said when explaining where she'd seen you before. Though since I did have enough time to browse to your okcupid profile on my phone it's really likely that she does actually know you.

To make the situation a bit more reciprocal she's hardrockgrrl, though I think the picture on "my website" looks more like her. Perhaps you can figure out who she is from that.

Also any chance you'd be interested in meeting in person sometime in the near future?

The universe does work in fascinating ways. And it is a small world we live in afterall. :)

I wonder if it would bother my nose. French fry's and burnt marshmellows?

Strange.

Here is a quick link for others wanting some more info.

The source the she and her friends are using is apparently providing them with oil that was only used to cook tempura. She claimed this was advantageous because it didn't have fatty acids that clogged up the engine.
