frustrating

I tried calling the woman I'd been dating last night and said something like "Hi, I'd like to know whats up and would like to talk", and she hasn't called me back. (Though it's only been 13 hours).

But I've tried contacting her at other times and she wasn't available then either, nor has she made any effort to contact me.

My mind seems to be reading this as getting dumped.

One of the things that I'm finding most frustrating is now that without someone else being more available to distract me with my crush on my straight coworker has come back to my mental foreground.

I really desperately need someplace where I can meet available queer geeky women here in los angeles.

well, a lot of people can read pretty well when someone wants to break up with them but hasn't done it. it could be something reactionary . . .

I can understand why she might want to break up with me--I'm just frustrated that she chose not to tell me what's going on.

i actually meant the opposite -- that she was reading your intentions and thus avoiding you to postpone the time when you did break up with her

I hadn't considered that idea.

I'd sent her an email asking what was up, and she finally responded and suggested we talk. Which makes me feel a bit more resolved.
