tickle

The tickle in the back of my throat has gotten worse. I spent today in bed sleeping.

It didn't help that my apartment is really cold as well. Around 6pm it was 61 degF inside, and it doesn't seem like the heater works.

Brrr... (not to mention a bit of whining.)

Is it actually 40 deg inside? Even without a heater it usually at least a little warmer than the outside temperature. (Or are you some place where it's below freezing outside.)

without a heater it has been 33 inside, here.
if i keep the windows shut well it is usually at least 44, even if it is below freezing inside. but so much depends on the prevailing winds (old houses have so many cracks and holes and things)

err, below freezing OUTSIDE.
and by "shut well" i meant if i'm religious about closing them when it drops below a certain temperature outside.

I'm sorry. I hope it wasn't I who infected you :(

Drink the green teat I gave you. It's supposed to be good for healing, plus the whole hot fluid thing

I doubt it, I had the scratchy throat for most of the past week.

I did try the tea and it was soothing (Though it took some work to figure out how to strain it.)

I take it you don't have a tea strainer? Had I known I would have gotten you one, but I think most markets carry them and they are super cheap
