Weight loss math

So my doctor wants me back to what I weighed when I first saw him 8 years ago. 189 lb. The target number I thought up was 85 kg (187 lb), which is pretty close.

Over the past year I've lost .28 kg per week, though the past 6 months was .5 kg/week(thanks to england). However I think I tend toward .3 to .4 kg/wk. So if current trends continue I should reach my target weight in 33 to 43 weeks (.35 kg/wk would be about 8.6 months)

I started trying to loose weight in november 2001. Suggesting this project will probably take about 2.3 years for me to loose 35 kg (77 lb)

Yeah vegetarianism, and pushups and situps.

Here's to hoping that when I've actually lost all the weight, I can actually stop feeling overweight. (As the feeling is only mildly related to reality).

Also hopefully this will have significantly lowered my chances of type II diabietes.

You should make sure that you excercise along with whatever food diet you're on, otherwise you'll have no muscle tone.

That's what the yoga and sit ups are for.

I have to admit that the chance of getting diabetes is enough to motivate me to exercise more. I don't do enough...but I do more than I did.

My mother developed type II and enjoys sharing the details of what part of her is currently failing because of the diabetes.
