I'm feeling useful

I was basking in the cool air being sucked in by my fan after checking my email with my laptop, reflecting on how I recently fixed both of those devices.

My laptop seems to be behaving properly after I checked for loose connections. A few weeks ago I cleaned the fan of all the cat and human hair that had gotten stuck in it which helped for a while. However it got stuck again, but a quick trip to my closet for some lubracant and it's happily spinning away. (I just hope that bike chain lube is compatible with an electric motor).

Another useful reason for having a cat with VERY short fur!

I suppose I could try giving her a buzz cut, but I don't think she'd appreciate it.

If the cat has long(er) fur, it's still gonna shed... the shed will just be shorter and stubbly :). My little guy has naturally occuring short fur. He barely sheds at all.

drat... there's no escaping the cat fur then without exchanging my cat. (Which could be pretty tough).

Is your cat a pet-slut? I swear, Stimpy has a problem. Between pets and playing, we're thinking of sending him to rehab .
