Drugged Kitty

So this morning I managed to pretty easily drop the antibiotic into Iset, though I had some difficulty squirting the vitamin tonic in.

I hope it'll get easier as she learns that she can't resist. Some friends with diabetic a cat can easily inject their cat while any cat sitter faces a massive fight.

Glad you've been able to drug Iset OK. Doing two things sounds tough, since she's probably already pissed off after the pill. Don't expect it to get easier, though; I've never had that luck with Mira.

And, depending on the cat-sitter, sometimes they're more experienced than the owner, so sometimes they do better. But sometimes the cat-owner bond does help the kitty get through stuff. Cats are all so varied!

Gotta take Mira in soon now for her turn at the Vet....

May your vet bill be much lower than mine. (And may mira be healthy and not needing of much treatment)

If it ever comes to it (please NO!) at least Stimpy doesn't have front claws. And he knows he can't escape getting a bath, so maybe that futility will transfer over to giving him pills.

Or maybe not.

Wow... you bath your cat. I'm impressed. Which martial arts do you know?

The secret art of Two Against One (altho P has bathed him solo). And like I said, he doesn't have front claws. P said, "We turn on the water, grab him, put him in the sink". He yowels, but basically submits to the indignation and horror of being bathed.

We *have* to bath him. He has very short hair and he gets oily and dirty.
