Well not really, since I'm jumping to all sorts of conclusions based on some non-human research. However it does seem to be pretty safe to say that there are a number of other species that form same-sex pairings. (It looks like the monkeys refered to in the above study may actually prefer same sex relationsip).

You don't need research to show that. when one of my students claimed that homosexuality was "not natural", I just said: "You've obviously never owned a dog."

I had a friend with what appeared to be a gay cat. One was quite fond of chasing the other down and mounting him.
