AAA

It appears that the AAA is tied up in lobbying for status quo transportation policies, including such things as cell phone's being safe.

I learned about this from the center for a new american dream's step by step 28: End AAA's don't ask don't tell lobbying policy

I also learned about an alternative company better world club which avoids the lobbying policies of the AAA, and the also provide domestic partner discounts (check the bottom of the page).

(Hyperlinks are so the best way of doing footnotes).

Wow. That's pretty awesome. I'm going to tell my friends with AAA about The Better World Club.

Thanks... Once I get a chance I think I'd like to join to, after sending my renewal notice to AAA saying I'm dumping them for being a highway lobby.

And the domestic partner thing is added icing, looking through more thoroughly, it appears some AAA branches provide DP benefits, though not particularly because they want to. (Washington provides it but that was after the state threatened to sue them).
