windows is expensive

Slashdot linked to an article in Linux Today Linux TCO: Less Than Half the Cost of Windows (TCO stands for total cost of ownership).

My favorite observation was that although linux sys admins took home about $3,000/year more than windows admins, windows admins could only manage an average of 10 machines each, while the linux (or solaris) admins can handle several times that.
